The commemorative flags (Thin Blue Line)

 

The thin blue line (Thin Blue Line) is a symbol used by the police to commemorate the fallen officers, originally from the UK but is widely used in both the US and Canada. Both the symbol and flag the form of three horizontal stripes, two black and the thin strip in the middle of blue color, the upper band means the ordinary citizen, the lower band represents criminals or violence and the blue line police which stands between criminals and victims.
