Start voting to change the flag of New Zealand
Today to March 24 Zealanders may vote on a referendum to decide the future of the country flag. There are two options, continue with the current flag or replace it with the new silver fern, which ended winning competition late last year.
Prime Minister John Key is in favor of the change to the new flag and encourages all citizens to go vote because it is a unique moment for the country. John Key says that if he wins the new flag necessary legal procedures will be made for the new flag flutters in the Rio Olympics this summer.
